THE SEED OF BODHICITTA

Image of Plot of land
Plot of land that has been acquired by DKRS
The work of DKRS is a bodhicitta wish of His Holiness Chetsang Rinpoche and other great teachers. It is also a chance for all of us to accumulate merits.

DKRS has begun its activities in 2002. Due to the combination of various conditions, a piece of auspicious land of fifty hectares that is twenty minutes drive from the Boudha Stupa has been acquired. It is hoped that another fity hectares of land can be acquired for future developments. Great support and help from the public is needed for the acquisition of the piece of land and the necessary construction materials to employing the essential manpower and doing the interior designing.

In recent years, the world has seen many crises ranging from economic crisis to loss of many lives due to terrorism. All these crises have caused unease and worry in the hearts of many people. In such times, the Buddha's teaching has served to help alleviate pain and suffering of many people. From a certain perspective, the problems faced by us can be viewed as a manifestation of impermanence, hence reminding us to make full use of our time to practice and to use compassion in our dealings with other sentient beings. There is a saying that goes "The size of your compassion depends on the size of your aspiration". May all dharma brothers and sisters contribute to this great cause to benefit all sentient beings.

May all mother sentient beings, boundless as the sky, have happiness and the causes of happiness.
May they be liberated from suffering and the causes of suffering.
May they never be separated from the happiness which is free from sorrow.
May they rest in equanimity, free from attachment and aversion.
