Honoured to organise the 800th Commemoration of Lord Jigten Sumong's Maha Parinirvana.
On 12th Nov. 2013, H.H. the Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche visited the Drikung Kagyu Rinchenpalri Monastery in Nepal. All the monks, nuns, and staff of the monastery presented a Mandala Offering to His Holiness for gracefully accepting the invitation and visiting the monastery in order to give blessings.
After lunch H.H. offered the title of Chorpon (Assistant Teacher) to four graduate students of the monastery, Ven. Konchok Sonam, Ven. Konchok Sangpo, Ven. Konchok Pasang, and Ven. Konchok Kalsang. This monastery includes a Primary School, Middle School, and Higher Education for Buddhist studies and philosophy, which is mainly based on Indian & Tibetan Buddhism. Most Ven. Jorphel Rinpoche is taking care of this monastery and now they are doing well.
